we have a winnaaaa

i know, i am late...if you need to blame someone, blame him:

Img_0015
his name is roo...you know, the little bouncy boy...born to kenga...that's him...and, i am sure it is his fault that i haven't announced the winner of this yet!!!

well...the winner is...KIRSTEN!!!!  (random.org did the pickin' by the way...too funny to use it for four entries....but, hey, just gettin' started on this here blog!!!)  thanks for the awesome support to those that visit and comment so often...it brings me joy!!!

will have a new card for you asap, i promise!  till then...
love and kisses to you fantastic supporters...i appreciate you!!!

oops...

that's just one of my thoughts for a sentiment for this little guy...i left the tag in the upper corner blank to add a word later...oops!! (as in, i forgot your birthday) or HI! are options i have thought of so far...

i made this wee one for beate's weekend sketch challenge...

Oopsmouse
i colored him with copics, cut him out (i had already masked off the party hat that he wears...but i could have just cut it off and trimmed him in some hair...) and used a dark gray copic to go over the edges...thus covering any white edges i left when i cut...he is then mounted on dimensionals...and, YES! those ARE eyelets you see there in the corners!! can you believe it? they are so stinkin' easy to set with a crop-i-dile, i figure i should use them since i have them!

hope your weekend is great! i spent most of my day (after working this morning) transferring 'stuff' from my old laptop to my new one...ick...tomorrow is gonna be WAY funner!!!

chelle (yeah, can't seem to find the file for the signature...gonna go search...oh boy!)

ingredients:

an inspired mother's day...

happy tuesday! and, you know what that means!!!!!  here goes beate's be inspired challenge #10!!

the inspiration:

Bic10lanielorethprint
a lanie loreth print from coldwater creek...and, the card i came up with:

Yellowbluemothersday_2
i  immediately wanted to make a long card when i saw this print...and, i LOVE the colors!  the card base is a piece of 8 1/2 by 7 1/2 card stock scored at 3 3/4...it fits into a standard envelope (number 10, i think it is called)...i wanted more of that fabulous basic grey paper to show (stella ruby, by the way)...the flowers are punched out of matching paper from the pad...using my martha stewart punch from michael's...other deets below...

hope you like...have a fantastic rest of your day!

ingredients:
SU!: mellow moss cs & ink, soft sky cs, always artichoke ink, very vanilla taffeta ribbon, dimensionals
brads from the soft subtle and rich regal collections
sentiment is from the retired set all year cheer II, background stamp french script (also retired)
dp is stella ruby 6 X 6 pad from basic grey, martha stewart flower punch, nestibilities

i used my distressing tool and sponges to shabby the paper and card stock up...as well as scrunched up the flowers before and after adhering...the sentiment oval is up on dimensionals

stamper's select cs, butterfly kisses stamp set
