that time again

my hero

there is a man that once lived on this earth that had incredible peace and amazing passion for life.

this man was not among us long enough...51 years...not enough at all...

i miss him

i was incredibly blessed to have had him come back into my life as an adult (he did not raise me) for two years...two very wonderful, short years...just when i needed him to be there...he was...

Myheroframe
i taught this framed collage last night at scrappin' good times...to some fabulous women, thank you girls!

here it is closer and without the frame (which was sanded and inked with walnut distress ink)...

Myheroclass
i used lots of my fabulous tim holtz products on this class...the die cuts are spellbinders dies and grungepaper...LOVE that stuff!!! all was inked with the walnut distress ink, the grunge paper was inked with creamy brown catseye chalk ink first...the dark brown piece is embossed with a cuttlebug folder...in the top left corner you see a piece of cardstock stamped with a prima background die-newsprint...on the right, peaking through, you see where we placed a tim holtz mini mask on a vintage dictionary page before inking it...LOVE THAT!

well...off to disneyland with chicka to celebrate the end of the school year...she is a junior now...oh wow!  and, today is my 9 year anniversary married to the hubster...our first date was 14 years ago today!!!

bye for now!
