harvest fun

last night's class at scrappin' good times was my 'harvest thyme' card class...fabulous students as usual!!!

Harvestthyme2

i love using digital images to add vintage touches...and mixing my papers...i used scrapworks, basic grey, and graphic 45 here...

Harvestthyme1

one of my all time favorite stamps...i love the saying! this is a card that really shows my style...eclectic and vintage...little elements that pull together to make a unique card...papers are cosmo cricket...

Harvestthyme4

i just love graphic 45 papers...they made for a perfect thanksgiving card...those pearl embellishments were all vintagfied with a E43 (dull ivory) copic marker...just the perfect touch!

Harvestthyme3

my silhouette got a workout on this card...all that intricate detail...all well worth it for a beautiful card for someone speical!

happy fall!

BOO!

are you scared?

a dear friend was over playing yesterday...we had so much fun! we just love to decorate for halloween...witches, ghosts, and goblins...spells, potions, and spider webs...all in fun and fantasy...

Boobanner we made this fun boo banner along with the spell and potion books...here is her version of the book i showed you yesterday...

Potionsbook so much fun! we found a similar idea in an etsy store and we loved the wax houses that we came across last weekend in temecula...that's the best part about the blogging world and cruising the craft shows & antique sales...you take an idea here and an idea there....get all inspired...and viola...your own fabulous creations!

i hope you found a wee bit o' inspiration here today!

life is good...

...for syd...

0913091718-1
a sunny spot, feet from mama...a piece of sissy's layette...perfect sunday afternoon!

the 'pillow'...remember this post where i spoke of 'needing' a baby? well, whilst cleaning out a sewing drawer, i came across a bag of nic's baby layette gowns...i had cut them and put them away to one day make a quilt...15 years later...i looked through them (yes, they still smell like her!!!) and one is too bright to match the others..i pulled it out to throw away, however, sydney loves it...that is what she is laying her head on...so cute!

smelling the pieces of nic's gowns just reinforced the baby desire...you are working on it for me, aren't you????

i am thinking about making something later...that would be nice, now wouldn't it??!!
