i like to call it feeding the soul...whether it is a trip to disneyland to fill my soul with magic, walking the isles of a flea market filling my soul with vintage goodness, or inking up the edges of beautiful paper filling up my creative soul...it needs to be fed...my soul has been starving and today it got a real good feedin'...

i met up with a few friends at a local flea market...and, here's the loot...not too bad for a few hours work!

i am one of 'those people' that has to play with my toys right away...so all of these treasures are already in their new home...

this set of drawers was perfect to house my tim holtz idea-ology deliciousness! i ADORE that pocket watch i picked up for a certain little configurations i am designing in my head...

i am also one of 'those people' that has to store my goodies in an inspiring way...another drawer that i bought a while back was put to good use...

any guesses what's in here?

 that would be all my our craft lounge stamp sets! love it!

new beginnings

if one was to review my past year by looking over my blog, i think they would be very confused...

on the one had, you have someone that loves to create and share...someone that is quirky and at least cracks herself up...and someone that is absent...

a new and dear friend in my life asked why i haven't blogged...when i said i have been sad, stressed, depressed, lacking creativity, and struggling she replied "then blog about that!!!"...so here i am...

a new year, a new beginning...

a renewed hope...my word for 2011 is IMAGINE...

i have a stamp, a tag, even a jacket, and now a calendar that say it...'live the life you've imagined'...until today reading that quote slightly depressed me, because i have lost the hope of living that life...i won't bore anyone with details or have a pity party here in front of ya'll...suffice it to say, i haven't been living the dream...at all...

so...2011 is THE year...

the year that i live the life i imagine for myself, the year i turn 40 and live to tell, the year i finally get healthy and feel good, the year i stop doubting that i deserve to live my dreams, the year i live and love to the fullest and take each obstacle in stride, the year i finally stop hiding and put myself out into the world and share what i know i have to offer...the year i give back and stop feeling sorry for myself...THIS is THE year...

and it all begins today...
