for the love of all things vintage...what a fabulous day i had yesterday! lots of great junking, delicious food, and wonderful company...and, i even had hours of creative time...yay!
just a sampling of what treasures i found...i adore my new office chair!
my favorite find of the day has to be this incredible ledger...here's a peak at what's inside:
a household accounts boook from 1963 to 1966 for Merle & Virgil Knotts...and Mrs Knotts here kept every receipt...every stub...and i love it all!
it has been fun to look though the invoices and cancelled checks...i see a great mini book inspired by this ledger in the future!
and, here is the tag that i made last night...
i loved the way the Grungeboard watch faces came out...
I started by stamping them in Archival Ink - Jet Black, then using Weathered Wood Distress Stain to color them...
after trimming them, i added some splotches of paint with my Snow Cap Paint Dabber...
a final touch of Vintage Photo Distress Stain on the edges wiped with my finger tips to remove it from the paint and the final product is so cool...
this is a perfect paint technique to use for the Inspiration Emprorium's Monthly Challenge...run on over to the blog, play along, and you could win $50 in Emporium Dollars!
thanks for stopping by my little world today!
