Tissue Tape Masking Tutorial

today i wanted to share a video tutorial that i did using a fun technique i use when i want to have an image pop in a unique way...

we will be doing this background masking that makes the image the center of attention...it's simple, quick AND fun...

I really like this technique, except I think it's a waste of Tissue Tape! Maybe if you peeled it off and stuck it on wax paper to use on other projects.

One question....can Artist Tape be used instead of the washi/tissue tape for this technique? I tend to be stingy when it comes to my decorative tapes. Artist tape is removable...any reason why I shouldn't substitute it?
