Christmas Cheer Card

O'Christmas Tree

hello! welcome back!

i adore this lil tree from the set Tattered Christmas. when i saw the new stamp release for holiday this set was at the top of my list...i L.O.V.E. coloring these images!

i stamped the tree and holly on distress watercolor paper and colored the images using distress markers and a detail water brush. each image is outlined with watered down pumice stone...i do this in a quick 'don't over think it' way and love the results...easy way of making images pop.

the sentiment from the Watercolor Trees set was perfect for this image and fit perfectly in the label stamp from Simple Sayings.

IMG_2315then i layered o top of a crisp stamped background from the Sparkles and Christmas set..super easy to stamp several times using black archival ink on the water color paper for a deep, crisp image using the Stamp Platform from Tim Holtz and Tonic!!

i inked up all the edges with pumice stone distress ink and layered my card...it's simple and sweet.
